Walmart's Next Target Advance Auto Parts?

Recommended Posts

Hey, Walmart (WMT) , want to shake up a sector just as Amazon (AMZN) did last month when it announced its bid for Whole Foods Market Inc. (WFM) ?

Wouldn't that be something! I still think there is some sort of consolidation that's going to happen between Autozone, Advance, O'reilly, and Napa. There are just too many parts stores and when you add all the other mom and pops and distribution centers, parts everywhere...More and more people buy online and that has to hurt parts sales at these locations unless they are capturing it online, but they still have brick and mortar costs to pay for.

The good thing about buying parts from the store, If you buy the wrong part, you can blame it on the employee. xD

Two of those big companies will consolidate at one point to grow bigger or be bought by an amazon or walmart, just a guess.
