link hidden, please login to view, a brand of link hidden, please login to view Products and Services Americas, Inc. announced it has added high-performance sensors that monitor nitrogen oxide (NOx) levels to its trademark line of aftermarket products for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. NOx sensors play a crucial role in ensuring tailpipe exhaust from trucks, buses and other commercial and industrial vehicles comply with federal NOx emissions regulations. A Solution for the Heavy-Duty Aftermarket
“PowerEdge NOx sensors are the solution the heavy-duty aftermarket has been asking for,” said Andrew Shlatz, sales manager of heavy-duty aftermarket products. “Fleet owners and operators need no longer choose between quality and value to meet federal NOx emissions reduction standards.”
The NOx sensors strengthen PowerEdge’s position as the go-to program for fleets. “Customers can now source these replacement parts from the same trusted brand they rely on for the diesel aftertreatment products that capture more than 85% of soot from the trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles that power the U.S. economy,” Shlatz added.
Launch Covers Class 7 and 8 Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles
DENSO sales teams launched PowerEdge NOx sensors on August 5. They marketed the new product directly to buying groups and warehouse distributors.
The initial line includes 16 part numbers. These part numbers cover the highest percentage of Class 7 and 8 vehicles on U.S. roads today. They fit nearly 40 Chrysler/RAM/Stellantis, Cummins, Daimler Truck, and Ford models.
Supported vehicles include street sweepers, garbage trucks, and medium-duty commercial trucks. Other supported types include drayage, cement, and dump trucks.
Built to OE Standards and Certified for All 50 States
PowerEdge builds its NOx sensors to original equipment (OE) specifications. The company manufactures all sensors in the U.S. using top-grade materials. These sensors help diesel engines and emissions systems operate at peak performance.
All units are 100% new and never remanufactured. They are ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified. Each sensor includes a one-year warranty.
The sensors meet federal emissions standards in all 50 states, including California. DENSO said it plans to add more part numbers in the future.
Expanding a Trusted Aftermarket Portfolio
The new NOx sensors expand PowerEdge’s aftermarket product portfolio. That portfolio already includes diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs).
These products cover 98% of Class 8 trucks from 2007 and newer. DENSO will showcase PowerEdge products at upcoming industry trade shows. These include the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in November. They also include the 2026 Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW’26) in January.
