After its initial U.S. launch in October 2023, UniClutch said it is expanding its North American footprint with two additional SKUs – 4Terrain and Track – “to enhance how enthusiasts can experience this one-of-a-kind clutch product.”

Compatible with the UniClutch Flex Fit Installation system, existing UniClutch owners can upgrade to the new range-topping models by swapping in the new Track or 4Terrain core unit.

With the second iteration of the UniClutch system, the brand is reaching even more drivers.

UniClutch Track

Track holds up to 1,450 foot-pounds of torque capacity with a heat-resistant ceramic dual core; lightened chromoly billet cover assembly; and a stronger quad drive sprung dampening system to handle punishing motorsport use, “while still being street-able,” according to the company.

“Tested with pro drift drivers and circuit racers, it’s great for any motorsport discipline or professional use,” the company said. “The Track ICT variant introduces an innovative intercooler for a further (up to) 40% reduction in heat, perfect for muscle cars and other applications developing massive torque at very low RPM.”

UniClutch 4Terrain

4Terrain stands out due to its heat dissipation designed for 4×4’s, featuring ICT intercooler technology, according to

“This innovation reduces fade, sustaining more slippage during extreme off-roading conditions, allowing drivers to maintain control and performance even in the harshest environments,” the company explained.

Together with a new quad drive sprung 4×4 dual core featuring an upgraded friction composition, 4Terrain boasts 1,450 foot-pounds of torque capacity and an anti-corrosion, anti-flex, heavy-duty billet steel cover assembly.

The entire UniClutch line is retailing at select NAPA stores across the United States and at

Standard Motor Products, Inc. announced the continued expansion of its Ignition Coil program. Standard and Blue Streak offer more than 700 Coils, with new numbers added each month. Blue Streak by Standard Ignition Coils are available in multi-packs for a complete coil service, the company said.
In a news release announcing the program expansion,
link hidden, please login to viewexplained that it evaluates the original part, identifies the OE issues, and corrects those problems to deliver improved reliability. For instance, ignition coils on the Ford 4.6L engine generate too much heat, leading to premature failure. To solve this issue, Blue Streak by Standard FD503 Ignition Coils were redesigned with two additional bobbin segments to better distribute the energy, resulting in less heat and a longer service life. Many popular OE coils use a two-piece design requiring an O-ring that breaks down over time, allowing moisture to enter the coil and cause failure. Standard said it created a sealed, one-piece design that doesn’t require an O-ring, eliminating the risk of moisture intrusion. Recently released Standard Coils introduce coverage for the 2023-21 Ford F-150, 2023-20 Subaru Legacy and Outback, and 2022-19 Mercedes-Benz cars and SUVs. Additional new coverage includes popular vehicles like the 2024-22 Volkswagen Jetta and Taos, 2024-23 Ford Super Duty trucks, and the 2020-15 Alfa Romeo 4C. Currently, 15 Blue Streak Ignition Coil Multipacks are available for popular vehicles, with additional applications in development.
“Our Ignition Coil program is the most comprehensive in the industry,” said John Herc, vice president of vehicle control marketing at SMP. “We’re dedicated to continuously expanding our coverage with coils of the highest quality and best performance to meet the demands of professional technicians.”
All new Standard and Blue Streak Ignition components are listed in the catalog found at

link hidden, please login to view (SMP) announced an expansion of its industry-leading Electronic Throttle Body (ETB) program. The program includes nearly 250 part numbers with coverage for import and domestic vehicles. All Standard ETBs include the required gaskets for installation, and applications with high OE failure rates feature multiple design improvements. Standard said its engineers evaluate the original part, identify the OE issues, and correct those problems to deliver more durable ETBs. For instance, the ETBs on Chrysler/Pentastar 2.0L and 2.4L engines are widely known to fail prematurely. Standard engineers increased the face width on the gear to reduce stress on the gear teeth, improved the geometry of the gear teeth to make them stronger, and upgraded the actual gear to a higher-strength, heat-resistant material.

link hidden, please login to viewrecently released ETBs for popular Volvo cars and SUVs through the 2022 model-year, as well as Jeep vehicles like the 2024-22 Grand Cherokee and 2024-18 Wrangler. New related components include Accelerator Pedal Sensors for the 2023-21 Hyundai Elantra, 2023-22 Hyundai Tucson and 2023 Kia Sportage. In addition to the Electronic Throttle Body program, Standard said it also offers a wide array of related components, such as Accelerator Pedal Sensors, Throttle Position Sensors, Variable Intake Manifold Actuators, ETB Connectors and more.
