      Each year, Auto-Wares Group of Companies selects one top technician from its Certified Service Center Network. This individual represents the group at the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance’s Technician of the Year competition. Casey O’Sullivan, shop foreman at Interstate Auto Care, received this year’s title as Auto-Wares Group of Companies’ technician of the year.
      Honoring Experience and Team Dedication

The company said this revitalized program embraces a new name emphasizing its exclusive focus on premium batteries and includes new stock-keeping units (SKUs) for the Bosch S5 Premium Power Flooded Batteries and the Bosch S6 High Performance AGM Batteries.

These batteries boast a three-year warranty and provide dependable starting power, a long service life and reduced risk of acid leakage in newer car models with high electronic demand. According to the company, these batteries promise a lifespan up to two times longer than conventional alternatives and provide consistent, optimal power for start-stop vehicles and models that use regenerative braking. The S6 batteries offer a warranty guaranteeing free replacement for four years after the date of purchase.

      Dorman Products, Inc. announced it has named Tayfun Uner president of its light-duty business segment.
      In this newly created role, Uner will be responsible for driving strategic growth and overseeing all commercial and operational aspects of Dorman’s largest business segment, the company said.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Bogazici University (Istanbul, Turkey) and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.
