In a July 8-9 event in Michigan, Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper named their annual Technician of the Year. This year’s winner is Kevin Kiggins of Pullen’s Garage in Hamilton Township, New Jersey (pictured above).
Technicians from across the United States—nominated by distributors in the Auto Value or Bumper to Bumper Certified Service Center networks—gathered for a rigorous competition designed to test both knowledge and hands-on expertise. Finalists faced a customized ASE exam and a series of timed, hands-on challenges facilitated by professional trainers from Garage Gurus. Combined scores from the various testing determined the overall 2025 Technician of the Year Champion.
The event, which took place over several days in various locations in Michigan, also included tours of the Ford Rouge Factory and the Henry Ford Museum, high-speed driving at the M1 Concourse, and an awards dinner where champions were named.
Garage Gurus and DRiV are among the sponsors of the program, providing instruction, facilities and sponsorship.
For Kiggins, the honor came as something of a surprise.
“I’m blown away, actually,” he said. “I did not expect to come in here and win. I’m just really humbled. I had so much fun but to win takes it to a whole new level. It’s been an awesome experience.”

When your car breaks down, the first question is always the same: “How fast can I get it fixed?” But in today’s market, it’s not just about speed—it’s about choosing the right auto parts that give you both reliability and value.
At US Parts Inc., we’ve seen firsthand how the right choice can mean the difference between a quick, lasting repair and a repeat trip to the shop. Here’s why quality parts matter—and how to make sure you’re getting them.
1. OEM vs. Aftermarket: What’s the Difference?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are built to the same standards as your car’s original components. They offer peace of mind with perfect fit and function.
Aftermarket parts can provide great value and often come with upgrades or improvements at a lower cost.
At US Parts Inc., we provide both—so whether you’re a professional mechanic or a weekend DIYer, you’ll find what works best for your vehicle.
2. Reliability You Can Count On
Cheap parts might look like a deal, but they can fail quickly, leading to bigger, more expensive repairs. That’s why every ECM, PCM, ECU, sensor, or ignition component we ship is professionally tested and backed by warranty. You can trust our parts to perform the first time—and every time.
3. Fast Shipping Means Less Downtime
Waiting weeks for a critical part can throw off your schedule and cost you money. That’s why US Parts Inc. focuses on fast nationwide shipping, with most orders leaving our warehouse within 2–3 business days.
4. Customer Support That Actually Helps
We know auto repairs can be stressful. Our U.S.-based support team is here to guide you—whether it’s helping you find the right part with your VIN or answering installation questions. No bots. No guessing. Just real people, ready to help.
The Bottom Line
The next time your check engine light flashes or your car needs a critical replacement, remember this: the right part saves you time, money, and headaches.
At US Parts Inc., our motto says it all:
“Built for Reliability. Driven by Trust.”
