Recommended Posts

National Performance Warehouse (NPW) has shared highlights form its 32nd-annual charity golf event, held Dec. 11 at the Miami Lakes Golf Club.

In addition to having more than 100 players from the automotive industry, PGA’s Erik Compton was there to offer advice and inspire the teams. Compton, who is a Miami native with several professional PGA wins, held a clinic before the shotgun start to help improve the players handicaps and offer guidance. Erik was also stationed on the 18th hole with his Trakman showing player’s their individual swing metrics while blasting drives on the closing par 4.

At the end of play, an event was held at the Miami Lakes Golf Club’s facility. Following cocktails and dinner there were awards and recognition. Door prizes were presented to everyone who played. The winner was CAM Automotive with 16 under par. The event culminated with $6,000 pledged to First Tee Miami.

“We are very grateful for the support of all our sponsors who make this event possible,” said Chris Pacey, CEO of NPW. “We certainly know that both our customers and our suppliers create business opportunities here as well as friendships as they spend time outside the normal business process. We are also glad to have the proceeds benefit The First Tee of Miami. We look forward to our 33rd event next year.”

NPW announced the addition of Automotive Installers Warehouse (AIW) to its network.
AIW, a customer of NPW since 2013, has joined forces with NPW as part of its ongoing growth efforts.
Under the leadership of owner Omar Mesa, “AIW has consistently delivered exceptional service and expertise to its customers,” NPW said in a news release.
Mesa has transitioned to NPW with the move, “bringing his wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the team.”
“NPW has been a great partner to AIW over the years, and I am excited to continue serving our customers as part of the NPW family,” Mesa said.
As part of the integration process, AIW’s location was consolidated into NPW’s Miami location, further optimizing operations and enhancing service efficiency, according to NPW.
“We are thrilled to welcome AIW to NPW and are confident that their expertise and customer-centric approach will enhance our capabilities in serving this market,” NPW CEO Chris Pacey said. “This expansion aligns with our strategic goal of strengthening our presence in South Florida, and we look forward to leveraging AIW’s resources to better serve our customers in this region.”

NPW has acquired the New Jersey Auto Parts location in Miami, marking a strategic expansion for the company.
New Jersey Auto Parts, a family-owned business with roots dating back to 1979, has been a familiar presence in the Miami market for decades.
The Tamiami store, part of the New Jersey Auto Parts portfolio since 2008, will transition to the Johnny’s Auto Parts brand, marking the debut of the first Johnny’s store in South Miami.
“I’ve had a tremendous relationship with NPW and the Pacey family for decades,” said former owner Roger Tapanes, a key figure in the legacy of New Jersey Auto Parts. “The decision to sell the business to NPW made perfect sense. I am confident that my loyal employees will be well taken care of, and under NPW’s guidance, the business is poised to reach new heights.”
      The deal closed Dec. 21.
“We are excited to announce the acquisition of the New Jersey Auto Parts Tamiami location and the introduction of Johnny’s to the South Miami community,” said Chris Pacey, CEO at NPW.  “This strategic move aligns with NPW’s vision to expand our footprint while maintaining the exceptional service and product quality our customers expect.  The trusted relationship we’ve built with the previous owners has laid a solid foundation for this transition.”
NPW, a shareholder of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, will continue to fly the Auto Value flag in conjunction with Johnny’s branding.

NPW announced a continued expansion of its business with the acquisition of Jim’s Auto Parts.
Owned by Jim Arpin and located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Jim’s Auto Parts has been in business since 1962 and is the last of the Broward Group of stores that is now under NPW management. The Broward Group was the largest independent group of auto parts stores in South Florida, NPW says.
Jim’s Auto will continue to fly the Bumper to Bumper banner.
“We are glad to have Jim’s Auto Parts under the NPW umbrella. Our family has known, been friends with and worked closely with Jim for many years. We look forward to working with all the great people Jim has brought along and grow the business he started,” says Chris Pacey, NPW’s COO and executive vice president.
“After 60 years in business, you can imagine my concern with handing over my business,” says Jim Arpin. “I have worked with the Pacey’s and NPW for many years and I consider them a well-respected organization and like my company, is family owned and has family values. With their infrastructure and greater buying power, they will make sure that Jim’s Auto Parts will continue to be a part of and expectedly a bigger part of the auto parts business in South Florida.”
