NEXUS Automotive International presented Federated Auto Parts with the Milestone Achievement Award.
This award recognizes Federated’s 40th anniversary in the aftermarket industry. NEXUS gave the honor during the recent NEXUS Business Forum in Abu Dhabi.

Federated Auto Parts was established in 1985. The company was founded by the late Art Fisher. Fisher Auto Parts and Westwood Auto Parts became the first two Federated members. Three additional WDs became members throughout 1985—Automotive Jobbers Supply in April, and Warehouse Inc. and Auto Distributor in December. Today, Federated has more than 80 members located throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico.

NTN, the parent company of BCA Bearings, has announced the launch of BCA’s 2025 Summer Trails promotion. During the promotion, BCA’s warehouse distributor customers can earn BCA-branded, premium merchandise with orders of BCA wheel hub assemblies, bearings, and seals.
“We are excited to introduce the BCA Summer Trails promotion,” said Patrick Cronin, marketing manager, automotive aftermarket. “The Summer Trails theme inspires the spirit of adventure and exploration that we all strive for when we venture off the beaten path on a summer excursion. BCA’s Summer Trails promotion enables distributor customers to earn tiered packages of BCA-branded merchandise with qualifying orders, which they can then use to conduct their own localized promotions. This allows the BCA-branded merchandise to reach every level of the distribution channel, from the parts professionals and service advisors who recommend BCA products to the technicians who install them.

“Many shop owners struggle to find good people at any time, let alone during an ongoing labor shortage,” said Doug Kaufman, editorial director of ShopOwner. “Even when they do find an ideal candidate, they don’t have any guarantee of a good fit. Instead of perpetuating a revolving door of transitory ‘jobs,’ we are looking to celebrate a commitment to building careers through training and mentoring.”
