Kurk Wilks, president and CEO of MANN+HUMMEL, has been elected vice chairman of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) board of directors.

Wilks joined the MEMA board in 2021. 

“Having Kurk as a vice chairman of the MEMA board is aligned with our mission to advance the business interests of the vehicle supplier community,” said Marc Blackman, president and COO, Gold Eagle, and chairman of the MEMA board. “I look forward to working with Kurk in his new role and during this transformational time in our industry.” 

“I’m excited to work with Kurk Wilks as vice chairman of the MEMA Board,” MEMA President and CEO Bill Long said. “His industry expertise and experience in the global supply chain –original equipment and aftermarket in both the heavy-duty and light vehicle sectors – make him an ideal choice for this role. 

During its most recent meeting in April, the MEMA board welcomed three new directors: Jon Husby, president and CEO, SEG Automotive; Mat Joy, president and CEO, Hendrickson; and Chris Pruitt, executive vice president, sales, finance and administration, East Penn. 

“With the addition of Jon, Mat and Chris, the voice of our industry is amplified,” added Long. “They will be instrumental in guiding the future direction of the MEMA board and our great organization.”

      Jamison most recently served as chief financial officer (CFO) of AquaSpy Inc. from 2010 through 2013. Prior to AquaSpy, she was a partner with Tatum LLC from 1999 to 2009, where she served as CFO or COO of several public and private entities across multiple industries. She also led the CFO practice at Tatum for four years, with responsibility for more than 300 CFO partners. Prior to joining Tatum, she held various C-suite and executive positions at Chart House Enterprises, Allied Domecq Retailing USA, Kraft General Foods and Arthur Andersen.

Effective January 12, 2026, Travis Springsteen joined Auto-Wares as chief executive officer, while Todd Leimenstoll will transition from president and CEO to executive chairman.  As CEO, Springsteen will have full responsibility for day-to-day operations, performance and execution. The transition does not represent a change in ownership, strategy or culture. Auto-Wares’ leadership team remains in place, and the company said it will continue executing its re-envisioning plan focused on operational excellence, customer service and long-term growth.

      Executive Background
      Johnson is the retired chief executive officer, president and chairman of the board of Foot Locker Inc. He was chief executive officer and president from 2014 until September 2022 and served on the board of directors from 2014 through January 2023, including chairman from 2016 through January 2023.
      Before becoming chief executive officer and president, he held several senior roles at Foot Locker during a nearly 30-year tenure, including executive vice president and chief operating officer and executive vice president/group president – retail stores.
      Governance and Current Board Service
      Johnson is currently chairman of the board of directors of H&R Block Inc. He also serves on the boards of Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. and Graebel Companies Inc., and on the National Leadership Council at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
      He previously served as a director of Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America, the Retail Industry Leaders Association and Maidenform Brands Inc.
