In his almost three decades in our industry, he has extensive experience in all of MEMA’s member segments: original equipment, commercial vehicles and the aftermarket. NEXUS Automotive International presented Federated Auto Parts with the Milestone Achievement Award.
This award recognizes Federated’s 40th anniversary in the aftermarket industry. NEXUS gave the honor during the recent NEXUS Business Forum in Abu Dhabi.

Federated Auto Parts was established in 1985. The company was founded by the late Art Fisher. Fisher Auto Parts and Westwood Auto Parts became the first two Federated members. Three additional WDs became members throughout 1985—Automotive Jobbers Supply in April, and Warehouse Inc. and Auto Distributor in December. Today, Federated has more than 80 members located throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico.

This move strengthens Arnold Motor Supply’s commitment to providing top-quality parts and service to automotive professionals and DIYers, the company said. A news release about the acquisition explained that Kohl Auto Parts has a rich history, originally founded as Sidles in the 1950s before becoming Mr. Automotive in the 1970s. Neal Kohl purchased the store in 1986, and his son, Barry Kohl, took ownership in 1992. Barry later rebranded the business as Kohl Auto Parts in 1999. Over the years, it has become a staple in the McCook community, known for its expertise and customer service.
“We’re honored to continue the legacy built by the Kohl family and to bring expanded products and support to the McCook area,” said Eric Johnson, president and managing partner at Arnold Motor Supply. “Customers can expect the same great service with even more resources at their fingertips.”
Arnold Motor Supply said the acquisition ensures a seamless transition, giving customers access to its extensive inventory, technical expertise and strong distribution network.

XL Parts | The Parts House announced the appointment of Vikrant Aggarwal as its new president and chief executive officer, effective April 21, 2025. Aggarwal will succeed Mike Odell, who will remain as chief executive officer of Marubeni Automotive Aftermarket Holdings, the parent company of XL Parts, The Parts House, C&K Auto Parts and other Marubeni investments in the U.S. automotive aftermarket.
