growth strategy, aimed at expanding its distribution network, enhancing technical expertise and establishing a retail presence in Ontario.

“Joining forces with Total Battery will allow us to accelerate our mission: to make sustainable energy accessible, reliable and innovative for all. We are excited to welcome their teams and customers into our extended family,” said Élise Rozon, CEO of TCED.

Market Impact

The acquisition brings six Ontario-based stores under TCED’s network, providing access to a wider range of battery, solar and energy storage products. While TCED will maintain Total Battery’s current operations, a thorough evaluation will be conducted to identify opportunities for improvement, the company said.

Distribution Strategy

TCED’s acquisition of Total Battery aims to strengthen its foothold in the renewable energy market by leveraging Total Battery’s established presence in Ontario. This move aligns with TCED’s commitment to delivering quality and sustainable energy solutions.

Both companies will focus on seamlessly integrating their operations, ensuring that customers continue to receive high-quality products and services throughout the transition.

      Hi everyone,
I've noticed that many drivers don't think much about their car battery until it suddenly fails to start the vehicle.
Over the past year, I've started checking the battery terminals, cleaning off any corrosion, and testing the battery before long trips. It only takes a few minutes but can help avoid unexpected breakdowns.
I'm curious how everyone else handles battery maintenance.
Do you test your battery on a regular schedule, or do you only replace it when you notice signs like slow engine cranking or electrical issues?
I'd love to hear what routine has worked best for you and whether you've found any simple maintenance tips that really make a difference.
