On Friday afternoon, Hemric qualified 19th and was poised to move forward until calamity struck in the first corner. Contact with the No. 62 truck on the entry to Turn 1 resulted in Hemric sliding up the track and into the outside wall, causing terminal damage to his Chevrolet. Hemric’s 2025 season behind the wheel of the NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet netted one victory, 10 top-five’s and 15 top-10 finishes.
“Really unfortunate way to end our season,” Hemric said. “It’s been a true privilege to drive this NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet this year. Our team and everyone had MHR had a lot of growth this year, plenty of moments where we had to pull together and felt like we certainly made strides the second half of the year. Wish the last few weeks played out differently, but that’ll help us over the winter to focus on areas to improve for next year.”
Start / Finish: 19 / 33
Final Points Standing / Total: 9th / 2,177 pts.
