      Advance Auto Parts presented its 2023 Vendor Partner of the Year Award to National Refrigerants, a worldwide distributor of refrigerant products.
      Advance presented the award during the company’s annual Partner Summit on Oct. 16 in Raleigh, North Carolina. During the event, Advance honored several vendors for their partnership and performance over the past year. 
      A key partner in Advance’s chemicals business, National Refrigerants worked closely with Advance’s inventory team to provide a steady supply of refrigerant products in authorized markets across the United States while helping Advance navigate state and local regulations around the selling of refrigerant products. National Refrigerants has been a trusted and reliable vendor partner for more than five years, enabling Advance to grow its business in the A/C-chemicals category, Advanced noted.
      “Passionate and dedicated vendor partners are a vital component of our company’s success,” said Jason McDonell, Advance’s executive vice president of merchandising, marketing and eCommerce. “Their ability to consistently provide a quality product mix while collaborating on innovative strategies and solutions allows us to better serve the needs of our DIY and professional customers. On behalf of Advance, congratulations to National Refrigerants and all our award-winning vendors, and thank you to all who joined us at this year’s Partner Summit.”  
      Other award winners include Amalie Oil Company, which was named Advance’s Superior Availability Vendor Partner of the Year. Advance’s supplier of FRAM motor oil and lubricants, Amalie helped Advance maintain exemplary in-stock levels and growth in multiple categories, including heavy-duty motor oil.
      “Amalie’s support allowed Advance to better serve customers with a greater product choice in the light-duty, heavy-duty and diesel motor-oil categories,” Advance added.  
      Advance awarded the Together with Speed Vendor Partner of the Year Award to ITW-Global Brands in recognition of its strategic support across multiple product categories at Advance, including wiper blades, wash and wax, body repair and performance chemicals. ITW’s team supported Advance through product innovation and marketing engagement while ensuring product availability to drive sales for Advance, according to Advance. 
      Advanced named MotoRad the Excellence in Collaboration Vendor Partner of the Year.
      “Over the course of the year, MotoRad consistently showcased outstanding fill rates, product-technology innovation and creative solutions that include data-driven product recommendations,” Advance said in a news release. “Their proactive problem-solving strategies boosted the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Advance’s operations, ultimately enhancing sales and customer satisfaction.” 
      Advanced named Sylvania the Strategic Initiative Vendor of the Year for its exceptional support of Advance’s lighting category. Sylvania’s collaboration resulted in higher fill rates and sales growth, while also reflecting Advance’s cultural beliefs through a focus on team-member training and other lighting-category enhancements, according to Advance.    Advanced named Legends Marketing the Marketing Partner of the Year for its support, advocacy and growth of Advance’s TechNet professional repair-shop network. Legends Marketing elevated the authenticity of the TechNet brand through creative solutions such as its unique video series featuring TechNet shop owners in their communities. The company’s work on behalf of Advance and TechNet shops resulted in a sixth consecutive year of membership and sales growth.

      Parts Authority, one of the largest distributors of automotive and truck parts to the aftermarket, held its vendor-appreciation reception and award ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 2, during Industry Week in Las Vegas.
      The event took place at the TAO Asian Bistro and Nightclub in the Venetian Hotel.
      “Our vendor reception finally returned after a small hiatus,” said Randy Buller, president and CEO of Parts Authority. “We couldn’t be happier to have hosted such a spectacular ceremony honoring phenomenal companies and exceptional partners. We are lucky to work with great leaders in the industry who are dedicated and committed to the success of our company. Congratulations and thank you from all of us at Parts Authority.”
      Parts Authority started the evening by recognizing Highline Warren (pictured) as its 2022 Supplier of the Year. Highline Warren, one of the nation’s premier suppliers of automotive chemicals and products, was recognized for its overall outstanding business practices, partnership and dedication to Parts Authority and its customers.
      FCS Automotive and TrakMotive received the Partnership Award, recognizing their efforts and willingness to find innovative methods that fuel both Parts Authority’s and their own organizations’ growth.
      Durago and Mevotech received Supply Chain Awards. These vendors maintained a strong and steady supply chain despite challenging circumstances, Parts Authority noted.
      Parts Authority recognized Standard Motor Products with the Operational Performance Award. The recipient was measured on communication, organization, and the ability to adapt and grow alongside Parts Authority. Standard Motor Products truly delivered exceptional operational performance, Parts Authority said.
      ACDelco received the Program Performance Award. ACDelco was recognized for going above and beyond the “call of duty” to grow and support its brand across multiple channels nationwide, in turn benefiting both Parts Authority and its customers.
      URO Parts, which offers more than 8,000 high-quality spare parts for European, American and Asian vehicles, was named the organization’s 2022 Import Supplier of the Year. URO demonstrated its ability to be a market leader in the import segment.
      Depo received the 2022 New Vendor Award. Depo offers aftermarket lighting and collision parts at competitive prices. Depo was recognized for its high-quality products and ability to move quickly and successfully through the challenging process of becoming a new vendor.
      Bosch received the 2022 Marketing Excellence Award. Bosch consistently delivered successful marketing strategies and support throughout the year.
      Parts Authority recognized Dorman Products with the 2022 Catalog and Data Award. From new-product data to ACES and PIES to images, videos and beyond, Dorman proved to be an industry leader in all aspects of cataloging and data, Parts Authority noted.
      DRiV received the 2022 Brand Recognition Award. DRiV was recognized for maintaining strong brand awareness within its portfolio of products and its consistent support of Parts Authority’s business.
      Bryan Moberly, national key account manager at Bosch, was named 2022 Factory Representative of the Year. Moberly delivered consistent and outstanding support throughout the year, resulting in significant growth for Bosch, Parts Authority and its customers.
      Mike Glazier, president at Glazier Sales Associates, and Robbie Riefberg of NA Williams, were named 2022 Manufacturer Representatives of the Year. Glazier and Riefberg successfully managed multiple brands and inventory within Parts Authority, while educating team members and customers.
      Parts Authority awarded five recipients with the Road Warrior Award. Justin Masseo from Glazier Sales Associates, Hector Garcia from NA Williams, Bill Wilson from KSW Enterprises, Mike Beam from Idemitsu Lubricants America and Kendell Smith from Standard Motor Products were recognized for their outstanding and ongoing efforts on the front lines. These “road warriors” trained customers, educated team members and solved problems with passion and precision.

      Advance Auto Parts presented its 2022 Vendor of the Year awards during the company’s annual Partner Summit on Oct. 17 at the North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh, North Carolina.
      During the event, Advance honored numerous vendors for their partnership and performance. The retailer also announced that, thanks to the generous contributions of its vendor partners, the Advance Auto Parts Foundation will gift more than $2 million to military veteran nonprofits.
      The 2022 Vendor Partner of the Year award was presented to Sprayway, a leading manufacturer of aerosol products. Sprayway partnered with Advance’s supply chain team to tackle the aerosol-can shortage. Thanks to innovative sourcing methods and shifts in production, Sprayway continued to supply Advance with brake cleaner, appearance chemicals and other essential automotive products.
      The gift from Advance’s vendor partners via the Advance Auto Parts Foundation will benefit three nonprofits in support of military veterans. Beneficiaries include Building Homes for Heroes, which gifts mortgage-free homes to wounded service members and their families; Hire Heroes USA, which provides free job search and career support to U.S. military members, veterans and their families; and Stop Soldier Suicide, whose goal is to reduce service member and veteran suicide by providing mental health support and resources. Since 2011, Advance’s vendor partners have contributed over $17 million to support military veteran nonprofits.
      “Our vendor partners are essential to Advance’s success,” said Jason McDonell, Advance’s executive vice president of merchandising, marketing and eCommerce. “Our vendor partners are dedicated to providing Advance with the highest quality parts and partnering with us on strategies and solutions to get those parts to our customers with care and speed. Without them, the ability to meet the needs of our DIY and professional customers would not be possible. On behalf of Advance, we congratulate Sprayway and all our winning vendors, and we thank all our vendor partners for their generous contributions to support our veteran nonprofits.”
      Advance kicked off the evening by awarding its 2022 New Vendor Partner of the Year award to two suppliers. The first recipient was Test Rite Products Corp. for their help in designing and delivering packaging for the DieHard Power Tools product line. Delivering work to exact specifications and without delay, their speed and execution were key contributors to the new product line’s successful launch.
      Trensor LLC was named co-recipient of the New Vendor Partner of the Year award for its instrumental role in Advance’s private-label engine management brand changeover. Trensor contributed to the changeover by overcoming shifts to the execution timeline, providing funding to support competitive products and altering its shipping methods to ensure successful execution.
      For the second year in a row, Clarios was named Strategic Initiative Vendor Partner of the Year. Recognized for its role in the innovation of the DieHard brand, the company helped deliver a first-to-market battery designed specifically for hybrid and electric vehicles. Additionally, their partnership helped Advance’s DieHard AGM battery receive circular-economy validation from UL Solutions, the world’s first automotive battery to do so. Their collaboration and expertise have helped Advance experience record category growth while meeting an array of customer needs.
      Dorman was named Superior Availability Vendor Partner of the Year for providing Advance with exemplary service, availability and innovative solutions. A long-time partner of Advance operating in more than 180 product categories, Dorman’s ability to deliver new and innovative products and solutions has allowed Advance to become a leader within the professional installer market.
      GB Remanufacturing Inc. was named Professional Excellence Vendor Partner of the Year.
