  1. I've got a 2014 Chevy Equinox with new pluigs, coils, fuel injectors, recent top-engine carbon clean, new AC Delco O2 sensors, and relitively new CAT. Getting a P219A-00 for Fuel trim cyliner balance. Any ideas where to start diagnosing? I saw this online as possible causes:

    • Leaking or contaminated fuel injectors
    • Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel
    • Leaking evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve
    • Exhaust or intake air system leaks
    • Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system
    • Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system is leaking or the valve is stuck open
    • Ignition system
    • Incorrectly seated engine oil dipstick, tube or oil fill cap

Just curious if anyone has had this issue with a GMC of Chevy and succesfully diagnosed.

  2. I'm working on a 2011 Chevy Equinox 2.4 that has a PO442 code, for an evap leak. Sometimes its the fuel cap. However, I decided to buy a smoke machine and see if I can determine where the leak is coming from. I purchased from Amazon

Lines all look good to and from the vapor canister. I shot it back up to the fuel cap to see if its bad and noticed smoke from the wheel well. I took the wheel well cover off and it looks like smoke is coming from the filler neck, where it's rusted pretty bad.

  3. Have some issues going on with my 2014 Chevy Equinox 2.4. Check engine light was flashing and went into sort of limp mode and then back to normal. Check engine light is off but scanner shows history codes PO171, PO300, PO2097. Looks like misfire, fuel trim lean, post cat fuel trim high limit.

Right now it’s running smooth but every once in a while on the highway it seems sluggish and RPMs will drop.

I replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body but happened again. I just replaced the oxygen sensor after the cat with a spare I had, so we’ll see. I’m almost thinking a fuel injector issue or intermittent timing. No other codes.

The O2 sensor I just took out is charred a bit:

    Ideas?

We are brake pads manufacturer in China, if you have any interested, please feel free to contact me by Whatsapp: +8618555330281

Not really if I can't buy them in a store like Autozone, Advance or Napa. Are you just promoting your brake pads but not selling them in the US? Does anyone in the US buy your pads? Never heard of them.

  5. This car has nothing but issues, now I have water coming in when it rains and my back seat floor is a puddle. Took my spare tire out and have water in there also. Sprayed the whole car down and can see the water coming in when I spray the roof. Looks like it may be coming from the roof rack area. Took the panels off to look and the roof/body seal may be the culprit. Also found a bulletin on this. I ordered some 3M sealer on Amazon so I'll try and replace the seal. Anyone run into this on an equinox or terrain?

  6. My 2014 has an exhaust smell in the cabin which is more noticeable when idling. I read online that the exhaust manifolds crack. Well today I’m getting into this and it’s a bitch. The secondary air injection is in the way on this model to access the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Finally got the heat shield of and can see a crack...

Now trying to remove and replace it. Got the O2 sensor out and it’s in bad shape!
