Bosch has added 13 new part numbers to its engine components lineup, including canister purge valves, ignition coils, throttle bodies and an EVO Spark Plug. Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, these components are intended to support engine performance and reliable operation across a wide range of vehicles, the company said.
The new EVO Spark Plug part number covers 453,000 Asian vehicles in operation across the U.S. and Canada. EVO Spark Plugs from Bosch utilize iridium alloys for long service life and wear resistance, as well as improved insulation, reduced risk of damage during installation and increased thermomechanical, mechanical and electrical strength to withstand extreme pressure during knocking.
Bosch Braking
Bosch released 17 new braking component part numbers in the first quarter, including 14 new part numbers for Bosch Parking Brake Shoes, covering more than 8 million vehicles in operation. These shoes offer bonded and riveted coverage matching OE attachment methods on most domestic and commercial applications, and the coated shoe plate helps prevent rust and corrosion.
Bosch Rotating Machines
Bosch introduced 75 new rotating machine part numbers in the first quarter, including new and remanufactured starters, alternators and A/C compressors. This includes four new part numbers in the Bosch A/C compressor lineup, covering 601,000 vehicles in operation.
Bosch introduced 28 starter part numbers across new and remanufactured offerings, with 28 new starter part numbers covering 25.4 million vehicles in operation and three remanufactured starters covering 13.6 million vehicles.

Bosch added eight new part numbers in pumps – including five fuel pumps, two GDI high-pressure pumps and one electric fuel pump. These pumps cover 40,400 vehicles in operation and are designed to support fuel delivery and engine performance across domestic, Asian and European vehicles.
The Bosch GDI high-pressure pumps debuted two new part numbers covering 537,000 vehicles in operation, featuring an integrated pressure limiter valve, an integrated pressure damper and a compact, lightweight design.
Bosch Injectors
Bosch added 20 new part numbers to its injector lineup in the first quarter, including five gasoline injectors, 12 fuel injectors and three GDI fuel injectors. These injectors are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications by delivering precise fuel atomization to support combustion, smooth engine operation and drivability across a wide range of vehicles.
Bosch Fuel Injectors debuted 12 part numbers and are engineered for OE fit, form and function. Manufactured from quality materials, they provide precision flow and original spray patterns while maintaining smoothness and drivability.
Bosch Sensors
Bosch added 34 new sensor part numbers, including mass air flow (MAF), pressure, particulate matter, oxygen, camshaft, crankshaft, temperature, knock, throttle position and NOx sensors. Bosch added five new part numbers to its Powersport Lithium (Gen II) battery lineup. These batteries offer a lifespan four to five times longer than lead-acid batteries, are 65% lighter and provide faster recharge times. Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) announced an expansion of its Standard Gasoline Fuel Injection program. The company said the program includes more than 1,100 all-new, not remanufactured, Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), Multi-Port Fuel Injection (MFI), and Throttle Body Injection (TBI) injectors, along with GDI high-pressure fuel pumps, fuel feed lines, fuel pressure dampers, fuel pressure sensors, fuel pressure regulators, service kits and more.

The Schaeffler division is making two additional Vitesco repair solutions available to the independent aftermarket: a Voltage Stabilization System (VSS) for micro hybrid vehicles from PSA and Toyota, and a 48V DC/DC converter for mild hybrid vehicles from Ford.
link hidden, please login to view said the VSS, available immediately, prevents voltage drops that can occur during automatic start-stop operation in micro-hybrid vehicles. The system consists of an Energy Storage System (ESS) with high-performance capacitors and a Power Electronics Unit (PEU). During the engine start process, the capacitors release energy stored while driving within a very short time, compensating for the high-power demand. Starting the engine via a starter-generator requires a comparatively high amount of energy.
If this energy is drawn solely from the conventional 12-volt electrical system, the voltage can briefly drop by several volts, causing visible flickering of the vehicle’s lighting and electronic displays. Schaeffler said that by stabilizing the voltage supply, the capacitors ensure smooth engine restarting and contribute to longer battery life, improved driving comfort and compliance with current emissions standards.
Schaeffler Vitesco Voltage Stabilization System power electronics unit Schaeffler Vitesco 48V DC/DC Converter: Efficient Energy Management
The Schaeffler Vitesco 48V DC/DC converter, available in May, is used in mild-hybrid vehicles equipped with a 48V starter generator and an additional battery to enable more efficient power delivery and boost performance during acceleration. The converter links the vehicle’s 48-volt electrical system with the 12-volt onboard electronics, ensuring stable voltage levels and preventing energy losses.
The converter is a component of energy management in mild-hybrid vehicles and for achieving type-approval compliant CO2 emissions. Its bidirectional design allows 12-volt components to be supplied from the 48-volt network while charging the starter battery. Conversely, in the event of a temporary failure, the 48-volt system can also draw energy from the 12-volt network.

Until now, both the Schaeffler Vitesco Voltage Stabilization System and the Schaeffler Vitesco 48V DC/DC converter were available exclusively as original equipment components. This is a further expansion of the portfolio to include OE-quality Vitesco products.
These technologies have been installed in large numbers of vehicles worldwide for many years. The Schaeffler Vitesco Voltage Stabilization System enables a 1:1 replacement in approximately 2.7 million vehicles worldwide from PSA and Toyota.
