The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has designated June 2025 as Automotive Service Professionals Month (ASPM). ASE encourages industry members to use Automotive Service Professionals Month as a chance to appreciate and recognize service professionals.
ASE invites organizations to host recognition events, special programs and other celebrations to honor these essential workers.
An Opportunity to Honor Hardworking Technicians

NEXUS Automotive International presented Federated Auto Parts with the Milestone Achievement Award.
This award recognizes Federated’s 40th anniversary in the aftermarket industry. NEXUS gave the honor during the recent NEXUS Business Forum in Abu Dhabi.

Federated Auto Parts was established in 1985. The company was founded by the late Art Fisher. Fisher Auto Parts and Westwood Auto Parts became the first two Federated members. Today, Federated has more than 80 members located throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico.

As the 2025 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series heats up, Advance Auto Parts and NASCAR announced a new collaboration. The Advance NASCAR partnership will support local short track racing through “Advance Auto Parts Night at the Races” in 17 markets.
The program aims to boost support for local tracks, drivers and their communities throughout the season. During select race weeks, fans from Colorado National Speedway to Seekonk Speedway will experience special events. These will happen both at the tracks and at Advance Auto Parts retail stores nearby.
Advance NASCAR Partnership Fuels Local Track Engagement

Grandview Speedway in Pennsylvania will close the season in September.
Advance Stores Host Fans and Drivers
Each “Advance Auto Parts Night at the Races” will include activities at a local Advance Auto Parts store. Stores will host driver autograph signings, giveaways, and other fan-friendly experiences.

Niterra North America will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its Sissonville, West Virginia, campus on May 9, 2025. The celebration also marks the grand opening of the Niterra Distribution Center, a major expansion to the site. Hahn Automotive Warehouse announced the passing of General Manager Bobby Scheer, a key member of the founding Scheer family, former owners of Prime Automotive. The company said he passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, hard work and a passion for both family and business that inspired all who knew him.
The company added that Scheer was a successful entrepreneur, but, more importantly, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a pillar of the automotive aftermarket industry and a beloved member of the Hahn Automotive family. Over the years, his unwavering commitment to Prime Automotive and his support for employees and customers helped establish Prime as a leading supplier in the Tri-State area. His continued involvement with the company after the Hahn acquisition was a testament to his enduring love for the business and industry, Hahn said.
Danny Chessin and Eli N. Futerman, co-presidents of Hahn Automotive Warehouse, shared the following statement:
“The Hahn family, along with all those whose lives were touched by Bobby’s leadership, friendship and generosity, will miss him dearly. We find comfort in knowing that his core values will continue to guide us, and that the foundation he built will serve as a lasting tribute to his remarkable life and career.”
Hahn added that Scheer’s memory will live on as a blessing to his family, colleagues and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
