The Federated members spent a day on a guided bass fishing trip on beautiful Lake Tohopekaliga near Orlando, Florida, and watched a night of World of Outlaws racing at the Federated DIRTcar Nationals at the Volusia Speedway Park in De Leon Springs, Florida. The promotion winners also received lodging on the St. John’s River with all meals included during the trip.
“Our members had a great day of fishing, a night of exciting racing and we even saw some alligators,” said John Marcum, director of marketing for Federated. “We want to thank our partners at Grote for an incredible trip and a highly successful promotion that rewarded Federated members for their continued growth and commitment to Grote. Fisher Auto Parts funds the Federated Car Care scholarships in memory of Art Fisher. Art Fisher founded Federated Auto Parts and the Federated Car Care program. The program offers scholarships to active Federated Car Care Centers. Eligible centers must purchase from a Federated member.

Federated will also continue its sponsorship of the World of Outlaws work area and be a prominent associate sponsor on Shark Racing’s No. 1 sprint car, driven by Logan Schuchart. “The first three years of our partnership with World of Outlaws have surpassed expectations. The season kicks off with the 55th Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals held Jan. 29-Feb. 14, at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. The World of Outlaws sprint car races, featuring Schuchart, will take place Feb. 4-7 as part of the DIRTcar Nationals. Additionally, at every World of Outlaws sprint car race in 2026, the work area at each track will be branded as the Federated Car Care work zone.

Federated’s “Free Fuel Fridays” promotion is returning to Facebook this winter. Each Friday through March 13, Federated will announce four randomly selected winners on its Federated Auto Parts and Federated Car Care Facebook pages. A $50 gift card will be sent to each of the winners. Winners will be announced each Friday starting Jan. 23 with the final four winners announced March 13, 2026.

Roy Kent has been named president of
link hidden, please login to view, it was announced by Sue Godschalk, CEO, Federated Auto Parts, on January 22. “Roy brings valuable insight, a collaborative approach and a passion for mentoring future leaders to his new position. His experience, leadership and thorough understanding of Federated make him the ideal choice for the role of president,” said Godschalk. “Having worked closely with Roy for the last 12 years, I know he will focus his talents on supporting Federated members and advancing growth initiatives that benefit the entire membership and strengthen supplier partner relationships.”

When the Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group) was formed, he took on the role of executive vice president, supplier relations of The Group, where he collaborated with members and vendors to identify mutually beneficial opportunities. Kent returned to Federated Auto Parts in 2021 where, before being named president, he served as executive vice president, member support and business development.
