announced the 12-year anniversary of its Jobber Management System, the Positrak Pro. Since 2012, the company said it has sold and installed more than 430 systems for independent jobbers across the country.

“Positrak has a 40-year legacy of happy, healthy jobbers,” said Positrak Vice President Jay Douglas. “Our commitment to customer service and doing the job right the first time is what has brought us to this point, and that will further our success in the coming years.”

According to a news release from the company, Positrak’s Jobber Management Systems include point of sale and inventory solutions, integrated cataloging, integrated credit card processing, and B2B connectivity.

      The University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF) is celebrating 40 years of funding scholarships, grants and ongoing educational programs to help develop a strong, knowledgeable industry work force.
      To commemorate the special occasion, UAF is conducting a 40th Ruby Anniversary fundraising campaign that will run throughout the year, culminating with a celebration on Oct. 31 in Las Vegas. Roger McCollum, MAAP, UAF chairman and Rick Schwartz, UAF marketing committee chair announced the campaign at last week’s MEMA Vision Conference and encouraged support from industry members.

      Applications and VIO
      The LuK TorCon product line supports a broad range of applications for passenger cars and pickup trucks. Schaeffler said its expertise in manufacturing OE torque converters allows it to capture several applications through a single SKU.
      The TorCon (TC0020) is compatible with select 2015 to 2022 General Motors trucks, vans and SUVs equipped with 8L90 transmissions. It covers multiple engines and has a current VIO of over 700,000, offering versatility when choosing a new torque converter.
