This car has nothing but issues, now I have water coming in when it rains and my back seat floor is a puddle. Took my spare tire out and have water in there also. Sprayed the whole car down and can see the water coming in when I spray the roof. Looks like it may be coming from the roof rack area. Took the panels off to look and the roof/body seal may be the culprit. Also found a bulletin on this. I ordered some

Many in the affected areas have driven through high water that may have damaged their vehicles. Even if your vehicle was not flooded or completely covered in water, the non-profit Car Care Council recommends that you follow these guidelines to check for damage due to water intrusion or contamination: Check interior carpets, upholstery and door and trim panels for dampness. If they are wet, the vehicle needs professional attention. If you simply let the carpet dry, it will quickly grow mildew and give off foul odors. Seat brackets, motors and modules should also be checked for rust and proper operation. Pull the engine oil and transmission fluid dipsticks and differential plug. If the fluid appears milky, diluted, is no longer its original color or is beige in color, then it is likely the pans contain water and the vehicle should be towed to your repair shop. Driving the vehicle with water present may damage the internal parts and require extensive overhaul or repairs. The council reminds motorists that some synthetic differential fluids may appear to be milky, but are not water contaminated. When in doubt, a professional automotive technician should make the evaluation. Check the air filter for water. If it is wet, replace the air filter and change the oil. Check the undercarriage, bumpers, radiator area and frame for mud, grass, dirt, debris and rust. If any of these are present, the vehicle should be washed and cleaned as soon as possible. Have the brake system checked by a professional automotive technician. Check the exterior lights for moisture and water. Replace headlights and bulbs that contain water. Listen for abnormal noises while the engine is running. Make a note of where the noise is coming from and take the vehicle to a professional automotive technician as soon as possible. Have the suspension joints lubricated, if necessary. Many newer vehicles are lubricated at the factory for life; however, these joints should be checked for rust. “It all comes down to how much water the vehicle took in and where it reached,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “By being car care aware and following these simple guidelines, you can help minimize the potential for damage to your vehicle.”

Recognition of Blind Point Objects by Intelligent Human-Machine Interface and Natural Dialogue with DriversBy Erica Zhu Feilong Jiangli
Nowadays, more and more driver assistance systems equipped with cameras and sensors can detect objects more effectively than drivers. Moreover, speech recognition technology has already been equipped with vehicle navigation system. Traditional driver assistance system can detect objects (vehicles, pedestrians, etc.) and then inform the driver. However, sometimes drivers will be annoyed by such vague and one-way notification, which will lead to the driver taking the wrong road. In response to such restrictions, Mitsubishi Electric has developed new technologies for intelligent notification and natural navigation functions, which are expected to help make driving safer and more convenient.
After identifying the direction the driver is facing, the technology uses intelligent notification to alert the driver about objects beyond the driver's sight. In addition, the HMI Natural Navigation System can respond in a natural dialogue when the driver verbally asks questions about the driving route, without pressing a button or saying an activation word.
Intelligent notification function combines Mitsubishi Motor Maisart image recognition technology and vehicle video camera information to identify potential dangerous objects, such as cars, humans and other moving objects, located outside the driver's line of sight. The object facing the driver is identified by the driver monitoring system (DMS). The system monitors the driver by camera. By comparing the direction of the moving object and the direction of the driver, the blind spot of the driver is estimated. On this basis, the driver is warned by the monitor and the alarm. Tests of Mitsubishi Motor show that the system is particularly effective in detecting objects and attracting driver's attention.
Natural navigation uses DMS and a series of microphones (multiple microphones that record sound simultaneously) to detect when the driver opens his mouth and to understand the driver's voice cues. It is worth noting that the system can not only recognize voice, but also distinguish the questions that the pilot wants to ask about the navigation system and other irrelevant conversations between the crew. Drivers can talk to the system in a highly natural way to provide and receive information.（Edit by Chongqing Feilong Jiangli）

When selecting parts for a car repair, it pays to know the differences between original and aftermarket parts. Whenever possible, get estimates for both.
Choosing between original and aftermarket car parts — and even used parts of either type — is all about squaring your priorities with your budget.
You’ll have different options depending on the part and the shop. And the best choice will depend on whether you’re trying to keep repairs cheap, restore your car’s appearance after a wreck or soup up your ride.
Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts match those that came with your car, and are of the same quality as its original parts. They’re also the most expensive.
The factory-recommended replacement intervals for filters can vary quite a bit depending on the year, make and model of the vehicle, as well as how it is driven. As a rule, older vehicles (those more than 15 to 20 years old) typically have more frequent service intervals than newer vehicles. Why? Because late-model vehicles require less maintenance, thanks to improvements in motor oils, transmission fluids, engine design and filter media.
Many long-life air and oil filters use synthetic fiber media or a blend of cellulose and synthetic fibers to extend filter life.
Changing the oil and filter every 3,000 miles was standard practice decades ago. But it’s no longer necessary because most multi-viscosity oils today are a synthetic blend or a full synthetic that resist viscosity breakdown and oxidation for a much longer period of time. Late-model fuel-injected engines also run much cleaner than their carbureted ancestors, which reduces oil contamination in the crankcase.

5 rubber materials for shock absorption purposes
NR.SBR.BR is a common citrus material: NBR for oil-resistant vulcanizates; CR for weather-resistant vulcanizates: IR for high damping vulcanizates; EPR for heat-resistant vulcanizates. NR has excellent elasticity, good resistance to fatigue and aromatics, low tart and creep, good cold resistance, electrical insulation and workability. Therefore, NR is widely used as shock absorber in order to meet the requirements of low temperature or weather resistance, and can be modified with BR or CR. The shock absorber made of NR, BR and metal salts containing organic acid containing one OH group with more than 4 carbon atoms has good durability. The compression permanent deformation at 70Cx22h and 40Cx148h is 17.0% and 11.7% respectively. EPDM has attracted much attention in recent years due to its excellent weather resistance, ozone aging resistance, electrical insulation, heat resistance and cold resistance. Recently, Mitsui Chemical Co. and Kwannukawa Rubber Co. developed a new type of heat-resistant and shock-absorbing rubber material by using high molecular weight EIM and low molecular weight EHIM, and obtained a Japanese patent. The test results show that the damping property of the rubber is the same as that of NR, but its heat resistance and low temperature softness are better than that of other rubber such as NR. "The rubber material made of EDM for shock absorbers on automotive parts has very good heat resistance. After 190C *5 aging, the material still has very good interlaminar adhesion. Silicone rubber R or halogenated IR can be used when high damping is required; U has excellent wear resistance, flexibility resistance and resistance to hydrocarbon fuels and most organic solvents, as well as high physical properties, good electrical insulation, adhesion and aging resistance. . U has also been widely used in shock absorption and sound insulation, such as Adachi, etc. The rubber sheet with good shock absorption and sound insulation is made by U. The effect is good when it is applied to floor, ceiling and bending plate.

Introduction of defects in rubber products vulcanizing
1.Lack of glue: due to insufficient weight or poor fluidity, some defects should be found in rubber parts.
2.Degumming: the failure of rubber and frame inserts will result in disengagement or separation.
3.Bubbles: also known as "bulging", because the gas is coated in the rubber epidermis and the formation of local epidermis blistering phenomenon; Thanks for the help and support of Chongqing Feilong jiangli’s Technical department.
4.Rotten bubbles: also known as "pit gas", because the gas has not been discharged from the cavity, so that the die corner of the rubber cavity is less sulfur sticky, and protruding from the surrounding rubber surface phenomenon
5.Gel cracking: a phenomenon of cracking on the glue surface.
6.Under sulfur: the inner surface of the gum is microporous, and the exterior is uplifted and deformed.
7.Sticking mould: the phenomenon that the local glue of vulcanized product is adhered to the wall of the mold cavity.
8.Hot die: also known as curling edge, "bite edge" and so on, refers to the product parting line is not smooth, cracks, serrated waste edge and other phenomena.

The rubber material determines the service range and service life of the rubber soft connection. Different rubber materials correspond to different medium environments, and the use of rubber materials not suitable for pipeline circulation media greatly shortens the use effect of the rubber soft connection, which may also have a great impact on the service life of the whole pipeline.
